For people who think new Hiphop sucks...

There are many classics of the future coming out today... Trust me, there is good new stuff, you just have to have the 1) Passion and work ethic to work to find it. 2) The time, energy, resources and money to go get it.

Only Real DJ's and Hiphop supporters are willing and able to manifest this, keeping up with the evolution of the funk, into reality and action...

The percentage of good Hiphop to imitation Hiphop (Rap music) gets smaller as time goes on... Far less than 5% of the population are born willing and able to keep up with 'it', and keep keeping up with it... without losing 'it'...

This link is for a free download of a 90 minute mix of good new fresh Hiphop music for 2006... just like the radio station: No pop rap imitation Hiphop, no played-out 12"singles, and no trendy so-called 'underground' or 'indy' amateur imitation Hiphop... FOR FREE... Diamond D, Percee P (exclusive), Greg Nice, Smooth B, John Robinson, Dooley O, Double K, plus MANY many more legends of the past, present and future...

Leaders of tbe Brand New Funk

Nothing about Hiphop is really that 'old school' ... Old school Hiphop music to us is before 1983, before Run DMC, Whodini and Fat Boys... Hiphop went pop ("blew up") in Southern California, where I grew up, in the early 80's, during electro-funk before-Beatstreet&Breakin and before 1580KDAY... Since, a lot of great extraordinarily fresh records were not played in the mass media (radio/TV/press) ... A lot of great songs, from the past-present&future, that weren't on singles, on LP, b-side, not released, etc., for some wack reason, never got play... So our purpose is keeping up with these artists and records and providing these supernaturally funky soul brothers'&sisters' contribution to the art, culture and movement with a 24-hour resource/medium that WILL give them their due light, credit, respect, exposure and airplay... We are The Real Dj's Crew, our station is HiphopPhilosophy.com Radio... We only do shows in LA for artists who are making future-classic records now and have never been in LA to perform before... We started with Jedi Mind Tricks in 2001 (Stoupe,Vinnie,JusAllah onstage together for the first and last time), then we did Percee P (2001), J Zone (2002), MF Doom (2002), LouisLogic-CelphTitled-Apathy (2002), Cormega (2003), Count Bass D (2004), and we're doing Dooley O's first LA show on May 18, 2007 at The Airliner... When inspired, we will post entries here that we feel might be worth youir time... Stay tuned...
